Hello!
As always, I'm very very late on the band wagon with this product!
Nevertheless, today I will be reviewing the Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation. I was reluctant to re-purchase this because before it got reformulated and re-released I bought it and it broke me out, made me look cakey and caused my jawline to have a 'slag line' which I can vouch for everyone when I say, it wasn't a great look. So when I was in need for a foundation I was very hesitant to buy this one, but I am very glad I did!
Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation
£6.99 at Boots
The website claims that the foundation is a 'match so perfect, it's undetectable in any light! Light Perfecting radiance foundation. Traceless coverage and perfectly flawless skin under any light and it lasts all day.'
The one that I bought is actually a bit too light for me but the next shade up is too dark so 'a match so perfect' isn't what I found in my case. It is very natural, but I wouldn't say 'undetectable' or 'traceless' but it does make my skin look healthy and very glowy. I don't want to say flawless because I don't have flawless skin, but it's pretty close to flawless. It lasts a long time, but in my experience, it doesn't last all day.
This foundation, in my opinion, would be great for people like myself, who are at school and maybe have a few stress spots and like a jewy finish. My new college is quite strict on makeup, you can wear it as long as it's natural, and so far, I've gotten away with it.
Overall, I give the product 4 stars.
